The KLT Engineering homepage: from the crest to the seabed

Overview

KLT is a coastal and port engineering consultancy in Istanbul. Its new site puts 19 projects across six seas on an interactive map and sorts its services by the depth they work at, from the shoreline down to the seabed.

Every word and image is editable by the client in a content admin, and edits show on the live site immediately, without a deploy.

Highlights

  • A MapLibre project map with a region filter and a project drawer with gallery, facts and location
  • Services grouped by depth zone: shoreline, harbor, open water and seabed
  • English, Turkish and German, routed by the visitor language
  • A contact form protected by Turnstile, with branded email notifications
  • An admin for projects, images, services, regions, page text and messages

How it's built

  • Two Next.js 16 apps, site and admin, on Cloudflare Workers through OpenNext
  • Content in D1, read on every request so admin edits are live at once
  • Images in R2, served from a media domain through Cloudflare Image Transformations
  • The admin sits behind Cloudflare Access, with the Access token verified again on the server
  • Shipped in two days across 22 pull requests
